Thank you for visiting the website of Joppatowne Christian Church.  Perhaps we can, in a few words, help you to know this congregation.  We worship with contemporary Christian songs accompanied by keyboard, guitar and drums.  We observe the Lord's Supper on a weekly basis, and every obedient believer in Christ is invited to participate as an act of worship.  Our preacher loves to preach and taught preaching at the college level for some twenty years.  People often tell him that his sermon was over to soon. 

Worship begins at 11 AM and lasts about an hour.  The congregation is quite diverse by age, ethnicity, and station in life.  On any given Sunday you might see an elderly lady with a walker who is giving out lollipops to kids, and a group of teens strolling from the portable classroom unit to the main building for worship.  Because our people enjoy seeing one another they often must be quieted down to begin worship.  The preacher seems to enjoy that characteristic of the congregation.  For more information you may contact us at office@joppatownecc.org.
